Delta Omicron Chi on campus...
Gamma Chapter was established on the University of California, Davis campus in the Summerof 2005, when six beautiful and strong women decided they wanted to make a difference on the campus. Since then, Delta Omicron Chi Sorority has, and continues, to make a name for itself, participating in events such as Picnic Day, The Buzz, Pilipino Cultural Night (PCN), and Relay4Life. You can also find the sisters helping out at sporting and special events. Additionally, Gamma Colony puts together a showcase every year during Winter Quarter to not only showcase the sorority, but other campus organizations as well.
As a community service based organization, Gamma Chapter has selected two organizations for its philanthropies. The first is the St. John's Shelter for Women and Children, located in Sacramento. The mission of this organization is to support homeless women with children to advance from a point of crisis to a position of self-sufficiency. In our efforts to assist them, the sisters of Gamma Chapter participate in serving food and organizing clothing and canned food drives in the Davis area. The second organization is the Sacramento Children's Home. The Sacramento Children's Home is committed to helping build strong families; to opening doors to the future; to maximizing potential; and ending the cycle of child abuse. Delta Omicron Chi Sorority sisters help by volunteering at talent shows and holiday events.
